A Very Kitschy Christmas and A Happy New Year

It’s that holly jolly time again when Christmas is around the bend and everyone is putting up their tree– wait, maybe that’s just me. But once Halloween comes to an end, my mind goes directly to Christmas. Having grown up in a fairly large Italian-American family, the holidays will always have a special place in my heart, filled with a traditional feast of pasta and every kind of sea creature you can think of, some butchered Italian slang, and lots of Frank Sinatra. So although it’s a bit early to get into the Christmas spirit, I’m diving in, and what better way to do so than with the stunning holiday collection from Erstwilder!

If you follow Erstwilder on Instagram, you’re privy to seeing some sneak peaks of their latest ranges, and boy is this one magical. I’m reviewing a few of my favorite pieces, but be sure to feast your eyes on the rest of the collection here! And if the collection itself wasn’t fabulous enough, they will be including a bonus gift with a purchase of four or more brooches (which shouldn’t be difficult since they’re all adorable)!

Kiss Me Kindly Brooch

“Oh by gosh, by golly, it’s time for mistletoe and holly”

Nothing helps to make the season bright more than mistletoe, and while you’re wearing this gorgeous garland, you’ll always score yourself a kiss. This multi-layer piece is made of shimmery leaves and berries topped with a bright white bow that’s sure to stand out. But be sure not to go around snagging kisses from too many elves while sporting this stunner, or you may find yourself on the naughty list!

Seasonal Symmetry Brooch

“Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow”

This southern gal is no fan of winter, but there is nothing more beautiful than the first snowfall of the season. They say that no two snowflakes are the same and I believe it because there could never be another snowflake as mesmerizing as this one! The light blue color against a white background gives the illusion that this baby is truly frosty, but just like the snowman, it has a warm heart right in the center.

Deck the Halls Brooch

“‘Tis the season to be jolly”

“Deck the Halls” has always been a staple Christmas carol and this brooch is sure to become a staple of your holiday wardrobe. Opalescent green resin resembles the texture of pine found in a true Christmas wreath, while shimmery berries immediately catch your eye. And let’s not forget that perfectly tied red bow that brings the whole piece together. Deck yourself out in this beauty and you’ll be the hit of the holiday party for years to come!
